Here’s really enjoyable project in Celista that we just handed off to superb clients from Whitecourt, Alberta.

The 1426 structure is a garage – and then some. In addition to its garage storage, it has an attached carriage house that will provide a residence for the clients while they proceed with construction of a waterfront main house. And in the future, it will be the perfect guest cottage.

With its west coast influenced styling, it features a stunning exterior. Woodtone board and batten is combined with with painted smart trim fascia, stained cedar accents over the overhead door, black aluminum vented soffits along the sides and rear, and Coulson Cedar in natural stain for the front soffits. Avaani fieldstone in Pacific Peak with tight mortar joints finishes it off beautifully.

Commercial garage doors with wall-mounted jack shaft openers will provide reliable access year-round, and a metal roof with snow stops will provide long life and durability in even the most extreme weather.

Inside, mini split ductless heat pumps and radiant floor heat in both shop and carriage house will provide ample heating and cooling. An18 Kw boiler provides hot water for the radiant floor heating and domestic water. Other features include water filtration, heat recovery ventilator, 400 amp electrical service, dedicated septic system, polished and stained concrete floors in the garage, specialty tile for the carriage house floors and shower walls, stained walnut grain cabinets with Cambria Luxury counter tops, Phillips Core Pro LED pot lighting, RV circuit and specialty electrical wiring for shop use, and cherry grain fir flush panel textured fiberglass exterior doors with multi-point hardware.

Our clients tell us they are extremely impressed with our sub-trade quality and project manager communication. When they’re happy, we’re happy!
