We think it's one of the most challenging, rewarding and best renovations we've ever completed.
This week, we wrapped up an extensive reno project on the Shuswap's North Shore. In addition to bringing new life to this existing waterfront home, we added an entire new second floor. And then we completed the entire project with luxurious finishes that modernize the home while leaving intact its traditional lake cottage feel.
In the end, we didn't quite make our original timeline. But we delivered the final product just three weeks later than expected, which we believe is still exemplary given the various difficulties and delays brought by the COVID-19 pandemic that arrived early in the construction stages. Our clients, our staff and our sub-trades can all share the credit for this -- they all worked flawlessly together to make it happen.
We're pleased to report that our clients are extremely happy with the workmanship, complimentary of each of our team members, and appreciative of how approachable and polite our sub-trades have been. They've been happily on site this week, waiting for furniture arrivals and decorating their new home. We're looking forward to meeting with them for our occupancy follow-up meeting to discuss any oversights or deficiencies in the near feature, and we've already scheduled their complimentary 1-2-5 and 10-year service visits to ensure their home is ageing nicely.
Next door to the project, our clients' neighbors have been so impressed by our work that we're now entering discussions with them to complete a similar renovation on their property.
The photos below showcase some of the beautiful finishing work of the completed project.
