After a pretty amazing spell of weather, many meteorological pundits are calling for an unseasonably cold and rainy spring. Well, we say bring it on...at least as far as our waterfront new build in Scotch Creek is concerned.
After a rocky start with late permits and other challenges, we've been working extremely hard to get this beautiful new home back on a schedule. Our hard work has paid off, as we've now finished framing the upper floor, installed roof trusses, and sheathed the roof, and we're now in the process of completing the shingles. That means, with the addition of windows that will arrive this coming week, we'll be locked up, and work can proceed with our crews dry and out of the elements.
In addition to windows, next up are rough-ins for plumbing, HVAC and electrical. We'll also be getting to work on the exterior of this custom home as weather allows.
Like many of our projects in recent years, this home first involved the teardown of an existing structure. Our goal now is ensure our clients can enjoy some summer and fall sun later this year in the comfort of their brand new home.
