This summer, the North Okanagan has been hotter than ever. And if the current trend continues, we'll be getting higher temperatures and longer hot spells each summer. This makes an inground swimming pool an attractive option for any new home. It's one that our clients in The Highlands of Shuswap Lake Estates decided on, and they're taking advantage of how much easier it is to install during construction than trying to retrofit a pool into a finished landscape.

As you can see in the photo below, our pool subcontractors (Neptune Pools from Salmon Arm) have already excavated for the pool, which will be generously sized at 14 by 30 feet and include a six foot deep end. The entire pool will be finished with a concrete deck and pool house, and like all other outdoor areas of this new build, it will offer fantastic views of Shuswap Lake and the mountains beyond.
