High above Celista, we've been working steadily on a beautiful carriage house on a stunning two-acre view property. The home will serve multiple purposes -- the living quarters on the second level, which are stacked on top of a huge open shop and storage area, will provide comfortable temporary living space for our clients, who are planning on building a main house on the property.
We're in the process of finishing this structure, and this week, we came to the conclusion that we needed a crane to lift the kitchen's granite countertops into the house. As you can see in the photos below, our friends at Spooner Industrial, one of our most valued subtrades, stepped up and helped us get the job done with the company's crane truck. That's Colby from Shuswap Custom Countertops on the deck landing the granite -- he was on site to make sure the entire operation went smoothly.
We'll be hard at this project in this week, as we are scheduled to complete it and hand it off to the new owners this coming Friday.
Our thanks to Spooner Industrial for the lift!
